Important information about eligibility for subsidised training

To access Queensland Government–subsidised training for the Farm Business Management Skill Set (AHCSS00030), the Queensland Government requires all participants to show evidence that they are actively involved in a Queensland farming business.

This is a government requirement, not a requirement set by the training provider.

At a later stage of the enrolment process, you will be asked to provide simple evidence confirming your role, as follows:

For agricultural managers or workers:

Provide an official letter or email from the owner of the business:

  • confirming the business is in Queensland
  • stating the student’s first and last name
  • stating the student’s employment position
  • stating the student’s employment status (full time, part time, contract etc.)
  • stating the length of the student’s current employment
  • stating the number of employees

For agricultural business owners:

Provide an official letter or email from the owner of the business:

  • containing evidence of their ABN
  • with an address confirming the business is in Queensland
  • stating the number of employees

We will guide you through this process when the time comes, and we aim to make it as easy as possible. Thank you for helping us meet the official Queensland Government funding rules.
