Work Placements

Job opportunities are facilitated through our online Jobs Portal, used by both participants and agricultural employers.

Participants can explore live roles and placement opportunities online, while employers can advertise jobs, offer placements, and connect directly with women who have completed relevant training.

Employer Partnerships

We partner with local agricultural businesses to match trained candidates with real workforce needs, at zero cost to employers or participants.

Agriculture Needs More Women in Technical Roles

Modern agriculture and rural businesses run on technology. From digital communication devices to networked data sharing, big data management, GPS-guided machinery, drone operations, data-driven crop management, and automated livestock systems.

Yet women hold only 35% of agricultural jobs nationally, and fewer than 23% occupy technical and coordination positions. That gap represents a significant opportunity.

  • Over 30 courses available (mostly free)
  • Practical skills that employers are actively seeking
  • Links to employers seeking new staff
  • Dedicated support across four South East Queensland regions
